Oğuz Demir was introduced to comic books and humor magazines in his primary school years. His first works were published in Gırgır during his high school years. In 1993, he graduated from Anadolu University's Graphic Arts department and settled in Istanbul. His works have been featured in various catalogs and exhibitions both in Turkey and abroad. Oğuz Demir, who has received national and international awards in cartoon and illustration, also has a personal exhibition. Since 1993, he has continued his illustration and cartoon work for various publishing houses, agencies, and magazines.

The 500-year-old raki culture continues to rejuvenate over time, incorporating different colors and dynamic energy. While classic names such as Hamiyet Yüceses and Müzeyyen Senar are joined by new voices like Hayko Cepkin and Gaye Su Akyol, new generation meyhanes (taverns) are also emerging alongside classic ones. Raki is no longer just a drink for middle-aged, fatherly men; it is transforming into a culture where people of all backgrounds blend creativity, gusto, zest for life, music, mezzes, and conversation. The "raki white" is now becoming a spectrum embracing differences.

Anason İşleri was born with the aim of bringing this vibrant, revitalized raki culture together with the language of design. They aimed to create products that go beyond the office environment and the digital world, touching daily lives, tables, and homes. Adopting the principle of transforming crisis into design, they produced anise-scented products. They have created innovative designs across a wide range, from raki glasses to meze plates, tablecloths to t-shirts, wallpapers to accessories. Anason İşleri aims to give raki culture a universal form by collaborating with innovative designers.
