Balance is a delicate matter. It becomes even more delicate at a raki table. The balance of conversation, the balance of raki becomes even more precarious as the number of glasses increases. A desire to challenge this delicate balance emerges. Perhaps also a desire to be admired. Risks are taken. Sometimes the result is a legendary story; sometimes it's a memory recalled with "if only's." Artist Vardal Caniş created two designs that evoke such moments. They made a beautiful pair.

Anason İşleri Hakkında
Rakı culture, with its 500-year history, continues to rejuvenate over time, embracing different colors and dynamic energy. While classic names like Hamiyet Yüceses and Müzeyyen Senar are joined by new voices such as Hayko Cepkin and Gaye Su Akyol, new-generation meyhanes are also emerging alongside classic ones. Rakı is no longer just a drink for middle-aged, fatherly men; it is transforming into a culture where people of all stripes blend creativity, gusto, zest for life, music, meze, and camaraderie. The "white" of rakı is now becoming a spectrum that embraces differences.
Anason İşleri was born with the aim of bringing this lively, revitalized rakı culture together with the language of design. They aimed to step out of the office environment and the digital world to create products that touch daily lives, tables, and homes. Adopting the principle of transforming crisis into design, they produced anise-scented products. From rakı glasses to meze plates, tablecloths to t-shirts, wallpapers to accessories, they created innovative designs across a wide range. Anason İşleri aims to give rakı culture a universal form by collaborating with innovative designers.
