A kind of paradise garden where crops are harvested without sowing or reaping! Wouldn't people settle and establish a settlement where fish are so abundant? They did, of course, and made fish the symbol of their civilization. Then centuries and millennia passed; things turned upside down. As the human population grew, the fish population dwindled. The remaining fish were no longer enough for anyone. It was history that told of a time when there were fish from one end of the sea to the other, and people thought it was a fairy tale.

The 500-year-old raki culture continues to rejuvenate over time, embracing different colors and dynamic energy. While new voices like Hayko Cepkin and Gaye Su Akyol are added alongside classic names such as Hamiyet Yüceses and Müzeyyen Senar, new generation meyhanes are emerging alongside classic ones. Raki is no longer just a drink for older, paternal men; it's transforming into a culture where people from all walks of life blend creativity, taste, zest for life, music, meze, and conversation. The "white of raki" is now evolving into a spectrum that embraces differences.

Anason İşleri was born with the aim of bringing this vibrant, re-energized raki culture together with the language of design. They set out to create products that touch daily life, tables, and homes, moving beyond the office environment and the digital world. Adopting the principle of transforming crisis into design, they produced anise-scented items. They have created innovative designs across a wide range, from raki glasses to meze plates, tablecloths to t-shirts, wallpapers to accessories. Anason İşleri aims to transform raki culture into a universal form by collaborating with innovative designers.
