We combined meze, music, and conversation in this plate. We brought a cheerful surrealism to the table.

We designed our meze plates to be noticed and to add color to the "çilingir sofrası" (a traditional Turkish appetizer table). The result is a collection like a painting exhibition. They are different yet harmonious. Together, they are exquisite. They are beautiful with meze. But they are also beautiful without meze. Even when the contents are finished, you won't be able to remove them from the table.

The plate is porcelain, and the print on it has been applied using the permaplastic method. It is dishwasher safe, but if you want it to last longer, prefer hand washing.

The 500-year-old raki culture continues to rejuvenate over time, incorporating different colors and dynamic energy. While new voices such as Hayko Cepkin and Gaye Su Akyol are added alongside classic names like Hamiyet Yüceses and Müzeyyen Senar, new generation meyhanes (taverns) are also emerging alongside classic ones. Raki is no longer just a drink belonging to middle-aged, fatherly men; it is transforming into a culture where people of all colors blend creativity, gusto, zest for life, music, mezzes, and conversation. The white of raki is now turning into a spectrum that embraces differences.

Anason İşleri was born with the aim of bringing this vibrant, revitalized raki culture together with the language of design. They aimed to step out of the office environment and the digital world, creating products that touch daily life, tables, and homes. Adopting the principle of transforming crisis into design, they produced anise-scented products. They have created innovative designs across a wide range, from raki glasses to meze plates, tablecloths to t-shirts, wallpapers to accessories. Anason İşleri aims to transform raki culture into a universal form by collaborating with innovative designers.
