The 500-year-old raki culture continues to rejuvenate over time, incorporating different colors and dynamic energy. While new voices like Hayko Cepkin and Gaye Su Akyol are added alongside classical names such as Hamiyet Yüceses and Müzeyyen Senar, new generation meyhanes (taverns) are also emerging alongside classic ones. Raki is no longer merely a drink belonging to middle-aged, paternalistic men; it is transforming into a culture where people of all kinds blend creativity, gusto, zest for life, music, meze, and camaraderie. The white of raki is now evolving into a spectrum that embraces differences.

Anason İşleri (Aniseed Affairs) was born with the aim of bringing this vibrant, revitalized raki culture together with the language of design. They set out to create products that transcend the office environment and the digital world, touching daily lives, tables, and homes. Adopting the principle of transforming crisis into design, they produced aniseed-scented items. From raki glasses to meze plates, from tablecloths to t-shirts, from wallpapers to accessories, they have created innovative designs across a wide range. Anason İşleri aims to transform raki culture into a universal form by collaborating with innovative designers.
