Balance is a delicate matter. It becomes even more delicate at a "çilingir sofrası" (a traditional Turkish feast with rakı). The balance of conversation, the balance of rakı, becomes more and more delicate as the number of glasses increases. An urge to challenge this delicate balance emerges. Perhaps also a desire to be admired. Risks are taken. The result is sometimes a legendary story; sometimes a memory recalled with "if only"s. Artist Vardal Caniş created two designs that evoke such moments. They made a beautiful pair.

The 500-year-old raki culture continues to rejuvenate over time, embracing different colors and dynamic energy. While classic names such as Hamiyet Yüceses and Müzeyyen Senar are joined by new voices like Hayko Cepkin and Gaye Su Akyol, new generation meyhanes (taverns) are also emerging alongside classical ones. Raki is no longer just a drink for middle-aged, fatherly men; it is transforming into a culture where people of all colors blend creativity, gusto, life energy, music, meze, and camaraderie. Raki white is now becoming a spectrum that embraces differences.

Anason İşleri was born with the aim of bringing this vibrant, revitalizing raki culture together with the language of design. They aimed to create products that go beyond the office environment and the digital world, touching daily lives, tables, and homes. Adopting the principle of transforming crisis into design, they produced anise-scented products. They have created innovative designs across a wide range of items, from raki glasses to meze plates, tablecloths to t-shirts, wallpapers to accessories. Anason İşleri aims to transform raki culture into a universal form by collaborating with innovative designers.
