Uisge Beatha. In Irish and Scottish dialects, the water of life, the elixir of life. Or as we know it, whiskey. According to legends, it was believed to grant immortality to those who drank it.

The formula for immortality has not yet been found. But we can start by planting a flower to leave a lasting mark. We brought together three different designs that bloom with a single sip, in one set. Ekin Anıl drew them, and we said "Sláinte!"*

*Sláinte: Means "health" in Gaelic languages. Used as "To your health!" when clinking glasses.

Rakı culture, with its 500-year history, continues to rejuvenate over time, incorporating different colors and dynamic energy. Alongside classic names like Hamiyet Yüceses and Müzeyyen Senar, new voices such as Hayko Cepkin and Gaye Su Akyol are emerging, and new generation meyhanes are appearing alongside traditional ones. Rakı is no longer just a drink for middle-aged fatherly men; it is transforming into a culture where people from all walks of life blend creativity, taste, life energy, music, mezes, and conversation. The "rakı white" is now becoming a spectrum that embraces differences.

Anason İşleri was born with the aim of bringing this vibrant, revitalized rakı culture together with the language of design. They aimed to step out of the office environment and the digital world to create products that touch daily lives, tables, and homes. Adopting the principle of transforming crisis into design, they produced anise-scented products. From rakı glasses to meze plates, tablecloths to t-shirts, wallpapers to accessories, they created innovative designs across a wide range. Anason İşleri aims to transform rakı culture into a universal form by collaborating with innovative designers.
