Oğuz Demir was introduced to comic books and humor magazines during his elementary school years. His first works were published in Gırgır during his high school years. In 1993, he graduated from Anadolu University's Graphic Design department and settled in Istanbul. His works have been featured in various catalogs and exhibitions both in Turkey and abroad. Oğuz Demir, who has received national and international awards in cartooning and illustration, also has a solo exhibition. Since 1993, he has continued his illustration and cartooning work for various publishing houses, agencies, and magazines.

The 500-year-old raki culture continues to rejuvenate over time, incorporating different colors and dynamic energy. Alongside classic names like Hamiyet Yüceses and Müzeyyen Senar, new voices like Hayko Cepkin and Gaye Su Akyol are emerging, and new-generation meyhanes are joining the ranks of classic ones. Anason İşleri was born with the aim of bringing this vibrant, revitalized raki culture together with the language of design. They aimed to create products that go beyond the office environment and the digital world, touching everyday lives, tables, and homes. Adopting the principle of transforming crisis into design, they created anise-scented products. They have produced innovative designs in a wide range, from raki glasses to meze plates, tablecloths to t-shirts, wallpapers to accessories. Anason İşleri aims to transform raki culture into a universal form by collaborating with innovative designers.
