Sera' Fine Silk About
Francesca Serafin decided to dedicate herself entirely to Serà fine silk, turning her hobby into her full-time occupation. During this transition, she also decided to design her own silk patterns instead of using existing ones. A name and logo were also born. The name Serà fine silk is a pun, using the founder's surname, Serafin. It expresses the brand's delicate nature and passion for silk. The logo is based on an antique mirror that Francesca restored to use as a decoration. Its shape resembles royal estates, and its gold color implies elegance. The combination of the name and logo helped the brand get off to a quick start and grow its presence. The company rapidly expanded to include a variety of ties, scarves, and bow ties – both clip-on, printed, and knitted – in addition to pocket squares.
Based in Milan, Italy, and with production in Como, Italy, the company represents Italian culture and craftsmanship in all its products. Francesca uses the world around her to find inspiration for her designs. She grew up in Verona, Italy, one of Italy's most important wine regions. Thus, she was inspired to create a collection of pocket squares based on Italian wines. She also enjoys traveling Italy, which inspired the Italian Islands pocket square collection, based on most islands in both the north and south of the country. Finally, her Italian Flowers pocket square collections stemmed from her interest in gardens and spending time outdoors. All these products are designed, produced, and packaged in Italy by Italians, ensuring only the highest quality.
