We asked M. Arel Siviş, who drew the illustrations on the glass, "Where did you get the idea from?" Arel combined the old with the new. The motifs are old, but the colors and drawing are new. The clothes are Ottoman-inspired. When we asked, "Why is that table spinning around?" he gave a grand answer: "It's not spinning around, it's extending. It extends to infinity. Like all ancient cultures."

The 500-year-old raki culture continues to rejuvenate over time, embracing diverse colors and dynamic energy. While classic names like Hamiyet Yüceses and Müzeyyen Senar are joined by new voices such as Hayko Cepkin and Gaye Su Akyol, new-generation meyhanes (taverns) are also emerging alongside traditional ones. Raki is no longer merely a drink for middle-aged, fatherly men; it is transforming into a culture where people of all colors blend creativity, taste, zest for life, music, meze, and conversation. The "white of raki" is now evolving into a spectrum that embraces differences.

Anason İşleri was born with the aim of bringing this vibrant, revitalizing raki culture together with the language of design. They sought to step outside the office environment and the digital world to create products that touch daily lives, tables, and homes. Adopting the principle of transforming crisis into design, they produced anise-scented products. They have created innovative designs across a wide range, from raki glasses to meze plates, from tablecloths to t-shirts, from wallpapers to accessories. Anason İşleri aims to give raki culture a universal form by collaborating with innovative designers.
