Known for its medium-level performance, pure badger shaving brushes are particularly suitable for wet shavers who enjoy a soft facial massage. The brush tip, which is slightly stiffer than other badger hairs, is shaped by machine. Their colors range from brownish-gray to black. In terms of water retention capacity, they are among the most preferred shaving brushes after fine badger. (Also called pure badger shaving brushes.)

Since the bristle tips are slightly stiff, lathering in a bowl is recommended for sensitive skin instead of face lathering.

How to Use

First, when you buy a new shaving brush, lather it with shaving soap 1-2 times before the first use to remove shelf and production dust, then rinse and let it dry in a well-ventilated area.
Fiber brushes do not require pre-softening as they do not have organic bristles. In this regard, they are quite practical to use. You can simply wet them and start lathering.
They produce lather quickly and dry quickly, which makes them preferred for travel.
After wetting your fiber brush, start moving it over the cream or soap without shaking off too much water. Continue adjusting with a little water or a little product until you achieve the desired lather, reaching a whipped cream consistency.
Then, gently move the brush over your face in circular motions to soften your beard and skin.
If you shave intermittently and use aggressive razors, it is important to move the brush over your face for at least 1.5 minutes to prepare for shaving.
Apply lather to your face again with the brush between each pass.
After shaving, it is important to rinse the brushes very well. If brushes are not rinsed properly, alkaline buildup can occur at the base of the bristles. This situation, after some time, leads to excessive bristle shedding. This is considered user error.
To make your brushes last longer, rinse them under running water from all angles by thoroughly opening the bases, and hang them to dry in a well-ventilated area.
Fiber brushes should not be expected to perform as well as animal hair in terms of heat retention. Therefore, it is important to be aware of their heat retention capacity and not expose them to hot water.
Do not expose your brush to water that is too hot to touch. Boiling water deforms the bristles and also damages the adhesive at the root of the brush bristles.
Do not expose your brushes to any chemicals. Do not leave them wet in an enclosed environment where they cannot dry.
A well-maintained fiber brush can be used for approximately 6-7 years. This period can be extended depending on usage.
