Rytmo

RYTMO with conical shape and perfect design; It is the second product group of the INTRO collection. The prominent contours on the chrome-plated base of the brush and razor add an aesthetic expression to the products and is completely MUHLE - also thoughtfully designed: While the handle is manufactured, a thin plastic is attached directly to the metal, allowing the base of the brush and the razor to fit comfortably on the handle. The products of the RYTMO collection are presented in premium resin in black and mint green - and the best part is that ash wood (heat treated) is also offered to nature lovers. The Material - High-grade resin

High-grade resin is a high-quality synthetic material, the surface of which is processed and refined separately. The material is ideal for exclusive accessories and writing implements because it facilitates a broad spectrum of modern and classical designs in many attractive colours.

To begin with, the aesthetic basic shapes for brush and razor handles are turned out of solid rods. Then each individual work piece is polished in several passes to give the surface its special gleam. Pure badger

Pure badger is the basic quality among the natural hair types. The material is recognizable by its relatively dark colouring. The individual hairs are somewhat thicker, but still soft and much more flexible than bristles. This quality is highly recommended for those wishing to take a badger hair brush that provides a slightly stronger massage effect. In terms of water holding capacity, it is among the most preferred shaving brushes after thin badger.

About head anatomy:

The head of the closed comb razors can be changed by purchasing a open comb head. The head of the open comb razors can be changed by purchasing a closed comb head.

Mühle's closed-comb machines are safe structures where there is a safety bar between the razor and the skin, where the razor can only touch the skin at a certain angle (30-45 degrees range). Since the Razor blade is behind the safety bar and cannot contact the skin directly, it can be easily used by those who will use a classic razor for the first time, and provides a shave that is performance but does not tire the skin in daily shaving.

There is no safety bar in Mühle's open-head shavers. It has a open tooth comb structure instead of the safety bar, and due to the difference of the blade bend angle, the razor can contact the skin directly and at a right angle. They are very close shaving machines that require hand habit. Due to its open tooth comb structure, the beards get inside the comb and the razor can cut the beard closer to the skin.

RYTMO

The Rytmo series is the epitome of eye-catching, timeless design. The conical shape is complemented by a distinctive region in the chrome-plated base. As with other Mühle designs, these Rytmo designs ensure that the piece sits perfectly when hung in its stand.

The Rytmo series is available in high-grade resin in black and blue, or in natural ash wood. All colour and material variations are particularly accentuated by the shiny, chrome-plated base.

In the stand design, a narrow plastic edge has been added directly to the metal. This piece ensures optimum brush and razor placement while preventing scratches to the shiny chrome surface.

Mühle's closed comb safety razors are a staple tool in the cabinet of anyone who practices traditional wet shaving. With an optimized center of gravity and size, they offer perfect balance and maneuverability. They adapt perfectly to their user, allowing for a changing shave with different sharpness blades.

The classic safety razor consists of 3 parts and its head is interchangeable. This allows you to transform your closed comb razor into a more aggressive open comb razor simply by changing the head.

Hair Type: Pure Badger

Known for their medium performance, pure badger shaving brushes are especially suitable for wet shavers who enjoy a soft facial massage. Slightly stiffer than other badger hairs, the brush tips are shaped by machine. Their colors range from brownish-grey to black. In terms of water retention capacity, they are among the most preferred shaving brushes after fine badger. (Also called Pure Badger shaving brushes.)

Since the hair tips are slightly stiff, for sensitive skin, it is recommended to lather in a bowl rather than directly on the face.

High-Quality Resin – Color Blend

High-quality resin is a special material whose surface is individually processed and refined. This material allows for a wide range of modern and classic designs in many attractive colors.

To begin, the brushes and razor handles are given their aesthetic shapes from solid rods. Then, to achieve the special luster of each workpiece surface, several polishing steps are carried out. This process gives the models a pleasant feel and preserves their beauty for many years. The resin texture, which is more valuable, heavier, and more durable than plastic, is combined with sincere selections from Mühle's palette.

How to Use

- In traditional shaving, preparation is important. In preparation for shaving, the skin and beard should be softened, and this process should only be done with foam obtained from cream or soap.

- The skin should be softened by applying the whipped cream-like shaving foam with a shaving brush. Moving the shaving brush around your face for about 1 minute is sufficient to soften and stimulate the beard.

- Open the head of your razor. Hold the blade by its short edge, place it inside the razor, and close it.

- If your razor is a 3-piece model, it will open by twisting its head; if it's a 2-piece model, it will open by twisting the mechanism on the handle.

- Then start shaving. Closed comb razors only touch the skin at a 30-45 degree angle. They cannot directly contact the skin. Open comb razors, on the other hand, can make direct contact. These razors cut and shorten the beard, so you need to shave with passes. It's important to shave according to the direction of beard growth.

- For the first pass, shave in the same direction as your beard growth. This direction may be downwards on the cheek but vary on the neck. Every man's beard growth direction is different and cannot be changed by the shaving direction.

- Do not press. Classic razors shave with their own weight. Hold the razor gently by its handle and do not press it against your skin. Let it glide with the foam and blade. For beginners in traditional shaving, our primary goal is to achieve an irritation-free shave, not necessarily a perfectly clean one. As you get used to it (approximately 8-10 shaves), clean shaves will come naturally. Do not go over the same spot repeatedly.

- After the first pass, reapply foam to your face with a brush or your hand. For the second pass, shave in the same direction or diagonally for a closer shave (e.g., from ear to cheek, or cheek to ear).

- The skin perceives each blade contact as an impact. After shaving, it is important to soothe this impact. Aftershave products contain ingredients with high soothing properties. If you have problems like dryness, itching, or redness, use balm. If you do not experience such discomforts, you can use lotion for a lighter effect. The combined use of both is also common; you can apply lotion first, then balm.

- We recommend not shaving against the grain until you are fully accustomed to the razor. This can cause undesirable conditions such as irritation or ingrown hairs.

- Mühle classic razors have chrome-plated heads made of metal. Applying excessive force to metal parts causes screw deformation, so please do not do this. Oiling the metal parts a few times a year with metal oil will extend the life of your razor.

- After shaving, remove the blade from the razor, dry it, and store it in its paper. Mühle razors are made of rust-resistant zamak alloy. However, we do not recommend prolonged contact of the surface with a rusty blade.

- Although the average number of uses for razor blades is 4-5, this is directly related to the razor used, frequency of shaving, blade brand, and skin type. Therefore, the number of uses is unique to each individual. Change the blade as soon as you feel it pulling your beard instead of cutting it. Do not shave with a dull blade, as it will cause irritation.

- If your shaving brush is made of animal hair, you need to pre-soften it. Soaking the brush in warm water (never boiling) for about 1 minute, deep enough to cover the roots of the bristles, will soften the bristles and prepare them for lathering. If your bristle type is Fibre, you can wet it directly and start shaving.

- Shaving brushes must be rinsed very well after each use and left to air dry. Accumulation of alkali in brushes that are not rinsed well at the base can lead to bristle shedding after some time, and this is considered user error.

- Do not expose the brush bristles to water that is too hot for your hand to touch. This will both damage the bristles and degrade the epoxy at the base of the brush.

- We recommend not applying excessive force to the handle of your brush when making circular motions.
