Silvertip badger

The finest natural hair for handcrafted shaving brushes. Its special features are the shimmering silver colour and a black band running though the hair. It is used to make durable, high-quality unique pieces - and products that make the wet shave the best time-out imaginable. The fine, conically tapering hairs possess the ability to retain a large amount of water and produce a dense, creamy lather.

The Material - Chrome

Without chrome the world would forfeit a lot of its lustre. In the finish used for our wet shaving accessories it demonstrates its best qualities: The material is corrosion-resistant, very long-lasting and has a luxurious, alluring lustre. How to Use

Firstly, when you purchase a new shaving brush, lather it with shaving soap 1-2 times and rinse it before the first use to remove shelf and manufacturing dust, then let it air dry in a well-ventilated area.
Fibre brushes do not require pre-softening as they do not have organic bristles. In this sense, they are quite practical to use. You can simply wet them and start lathering directly.
They produce lather quickly and dry fast, which also makes them preferred for travel.
Start moving your wetted Fibre brush over the cream or soap without shaking off too much water. Continue until you achieve your desired lather, adjusting with a little water or product until it reaches a whipped cream consistency.
Then, gently move the brush in circular motions on your face to soften your beard and skin.
If you shave intermittently and use aggressive razors, it is important to move the brush on your face for at least 1.5 minutes to prepare for shaving.
Re-apply lather to your face with the brush between each pass.
After shaving, it is important to rinse the brushes very well. Poorly rinsed brushes can accumulate alkali at the base of the bristles. This, in turn, leads to excessive shedding of the bristles after a while. This situation is considered user error.
To make your brushes last longer, rinse them under running water from all angles, opening the bases thoroughly, and hang them to dry in a well-ventilated area.
Fibre brushes should not be expected to perform as well as animal hair in heat retention. Therefore, it is important to be aware of their heat retention capacity and not to expose them to hot water.
Do not expose your brush to water that is too hot to touch. Boiling water deforms the bristles and also damages the adhesive at the bristle root.
Do not expose your brushes to any chemicals. Do not leave them wet in a sealed environment where they cannot dry.
A well-maintained Fibre brush can last approximately 6-7 years. This period may be extended depending on usage.
