The 500-year-old rakı culture continues to rejuvenate over time, incorporating different colors and dynamic energy. While classic names like Hamiyet Yüceses and Müzeyyen Senar are joined by new voices such as Hayko Cepkin and Gaye Su Akyol, new generation meyhanes are also emerging alongside traditional ones. Rakı is no longer merely a drink for middle-aged, fatherly men; it is transforming into a culture where people of all kinds blend creativity, gusto, zest for life, music, mezzes, and camaraderie. The white of rakı is now becoming a spectrum that embraces differences.
Anason İşleri was born with the aim of blending this vibrant, revitalized rakı culture with the language of design. They aimed to create products that transcend the office environment and digital world, touching daily life, tables, and homes. Adopting the principle of transforming crisis into design, they produced anise-scented items. They have created innovative designs across a wide spectrum, from rakı glasses to meze plates, tablecloths to t-shirts, wallpapers to accessories. Anason İşleri aims to give rakı culture a universal form by collaborating with innovative designers.
