Balance is a delicate matter. It becomes even more delicate at a "çilingir sofrası" (a traditional Turkish raki table). The balance of conversation, the balance of raki, becomes even more delicate as the number of glasses increases. A desire to challenge this delicate balance emerges. Perhaps also a desire to be admired. Risks are taken. Sometimes the result is a legendary story; sometimes it's a memory remembered with "if onlys". The artist Vardal Caniş created two designs that evoke such moments. They made a beautiful pair.

The 500-year-old raki culture continues to rejuvenate over time, incorporating different colors and dynamic energy. While new voices like Hayko Cepkin and Gaye Su Akyol are added alongside classical names such as Hamiyet Yüceses and Müzeyyen Senar, new-generation meyhanes (taverns) are also emerging alongside classical ones. Raki is no longer just a drink for middle-aged, fatherly men; it is transforming into a culture where people from all walks of life blend creativity, gusto, zest for life, music, mezzes, and conversation. The "raki white" is now becoming a spectrum that embraces differences.

Anason İşleri was born with the aim of blending this vibrant, revitalized raki culture with the language of design. They aimed to create products that go beyond the office environment and the digital world, touching daily lives, tables, and homes. Adopting the principle of transforming crisis into design, they produced anise-scented products. They have created innovative designs across a wide range, from raki glasses to meze plates, tablecloths to t-shirts, wallpapers to accessories. Anason İşleri aims to transform raki culture into a universal form by collaborating with innovative designers.
