Balance is a delicate matter. It becomes even more delicate at a "çilingir sofrası" (a traditional Turkish feast with rakı). The balance of conversation, the balance of rakı, becomes even more delicate as the number of glasses increases. A desire to challenge this delicate balance emerges. Perhaps also a desire to be admired. Risks are taken. The result is sometimes a legendary story; sometimes a memory recalled with "if onlys." Artist Vardal Caniş created two designs that evoke such moments. They became a beautiful duo together.

The 500-year-old raki culture continues to rejuvenate over time, incorporating different colors and dynamic energy. New voices like Hayko Cepkin and Gaye Su Akyol are being added alongside classic names like Hamiyet Yüceses and Müzeyyen Senar, and new generation meyhanes are emerging alongside classic ones. Raki is no longer just a drink for middle-aged, fatherly men; it is transforming into a culture where people of all backgrounds blend creativity, taste, zest for life, music, meze, and conversation. The "white of raki" is now becoming a spectrum that embraces differences.

Anason İşleri was born with the aim of bringing this vibrant, re-energized raki culture together with the language of design. They aimed to create products that go beyond the office environment and the digital world, touching daily lives, tables, and homes. Adopting the principle of turning crisis into design, they created products with the scent of anise. They have produced innovative designs across a wide range, from raki glasses to meze plates, tablecloths to t-shirts, wallpapers to accessories. Anason İşleri aims to transform raki culture into a universal form by collaborating with innovative designers.
