The 500-year-old raki culture continues to rejuvenate over time, incorporating different colors and dynamic energy. While classic names like Hamiyet Yüceses and Müzeyyen Senar are joined by new voices such as Hayko Cepkin and Gaye Su Akyol, new-generation meyhanes (taverns) are also emerging alongside classic ones. Raki is no longer just a drink for middle-aged, paternal men; it's transforming into a culture where people of all stripes blend creativity, gusto, zest for life, music, meze, and camaraderie. The white of raki is now embracing a spectrum of differences.
Anason İşleri was born with the aim of connecting this vibrant, revitalized raki culture with the language of design. They set out to create products that transcend the office environment and digital world, touching daily lives, tables, and homes. Adopting the principle of transforming crisis into design, they have produced anise-scented products. From raki glasses to meze plates, tablecloths to t-shirts, wallpapers to accessories, they have created innovative designs across a wide spectrum. Anason İşleri aims to transform raki culture into a universal form by collaborating with innovative designers.
