The 500-year-old raki culture continues to rejuvenate over time, incorporating different colors and dynamic energy. While new voices like Hayko Cepkin and Gaye Su Akyol are added alongside classical names such as Hamiyet Yüceses and Müzeyyen Senar, new generation meyhanes (taverns) are also emerging alongside classic ones. Raki is no longer merely a drink for middle-aged, jovial men; it is transforming into a culture where people of all colors blend creativity, taste, life energy, music, mezzes, and conversation. The "raki white" is now becoming a spectrum embracing differences.
