Bukowski - Classic Rakı Glass Set of 2
Charles Bukowski, the writer of the Beat Generation, perhaps because he never met rakı, was a brother who spent his life with beer. His outlook on life, "Almost everyone is born a genius, and buried a moron," is as full of problems as "Of course you can love a person, if you know them well enough," is full of affection.
Dead Souls describes itself thus:
“I've always loved the bad guy, the outlaw, the rascal. I don't like the well-groomed, tie-wearing types who hold good jobs. Our hopeless friends, with broken teeth, broken minds, broken paths. They interest me. They are full of little surprises and explosions. I also like women; women with sagging nightgowns, smudged makeup, women full of polemics and curses. Deviants interest me more than saints. I am comfortable among vagrants, because I am also a vagrant. I don't like laws, I don't like morals, I don't like religion, I don't like rules. I enjoy being changed by society.”
Whether one likes Bukowski or not is another matter. But we would like to learn about the "çilingir sofrası" (rakı table).

The patterns on the glasses are created using a kiln-firing method for glass pieces. They are permanent and dishwasher safe. They will not lose their brilliance for at least two years with home use. If you wish to use them for a longer period, please prefer handwashing.
Anason İşleri About
The 500-year-old raki culture continues to rejuvenate over time, embracing different colors and dynamic energy. While classic names like Hamiyet Yüceses and Müzeyyen Senar are joined by new voices such as Hayko Cepkin and Gaye Su Akyol, new generation taverns are also emerging alongside classic ones. Raki is no longer merely a drink for middle-aged, fatherly men; it is transforming into a culture where people of all colors blend creativity, gusto, life energy, music, meze, and camaraderie. Raki white is now becoming a spectrum that embraces differences.
Anason İşleri was born with the aim of blending this vibrant, revitalized raki culture with the language of design. They aimed to step out of the office environment and digital world to create products that touch daily lives, tables, and homes. Adopting the principle of transforming crisis into design, they produced anise-scented products. They have created innovative designs in a wide range, from raki glasses to meze plates, tablecloths to t-shirts, wallpapers to accessories. Anason İşleri aims to give raki culture a universal form by collaborating with innovative designers.
