Silvertip Fibre®
High-quality synthetic fibers are our own invention and represent a world first. The material properties offer a premium quality, synthetically produced, resembling the valuable natural fibers of the silvertip badger. The majority of users say that this quality actually offers even better performance characteristics than natural bristles.
'Silvertip Fibre®' is very soft at the fine tips, but slightly firmer in the middle sections than natural bristles. These properties create a pleasant, soft feeling on the skin when applying lather, without sacrificing the desired firm stance during the lathering process. In daily use, the hand-processed fibers are less sensitive than natural bristles as they dry faster and are resistant to soaps and creams.
These completely vegan fibers are more durable than natural bristles, because a creamy and thick lather is obtained from a small amount of shaving soap or cream, and consequently less is used.
Synthetic shaving brushes made from Silvertip Fibre® hair are quite effortless to maintain compared to natural hair shaving brushes. Due to their quick-drying property, they are also used in travel shaving brushes.
