This fresh and timeless chypre plays on all aspects of the orange tree: the bright rind and sunny flesh of the fruit, the dark green of the leaves, the honeyed sweetness of the flower, the strength of the wood. But the word "amour" nestled within AZEMOUR also expresses the perfumer's deep love for his homeland, and this scent tells of the Moroccan landscape, woven with its dunes, wild grasses, and orange groves.
The golden light of the Moroccan Atlantic coast envelops the top notes of AZEMOUR. The sparkling citrus blend, dominated by orange peel and flesh, is created with clementine, mandarin, grapefruit, and bitter orange. Coriander, cumin, black pepper, and pink pepper add vibrancy to this burst of flavor; blackcurrant and galbanum position it in a dark green nest of leaves.
Then AZEMOUR speaks with the freshness of citrus blossoms, intensified with geranium, softened by honeyed orange blossom absolute, and rounded out with finely spiced old-fashioned rose.
