Solaro fabric is a unique and traditional material that gained popularity in the mid-20th century.

Solaro is a type of fabric woven from a blend of cotton and wool, with cotton being the predominant fiber. It possesses a special characteristic that gives the fabric its distinctive appearance: it changes color depending on the angle of light, resulting in a lighter or darker look. This is why it is called "Solaro."

In our workshop, master cutters transform eye-catching fabrics into bespoke, made-to-measure, and ready-to-wear collections. The attention to detail, perfect cut, and typical soft Neapolitan construction reflect the company's true heritage.

From the very beginning, we have not shied away from experimenting with different techniques and pushing the boundaries of traditional style with subtle details; we have innovated our designs with special touches such as the distinctive mappina, hand-stitched buttonholes, and an effortless fit.

(mappina: In Neapolitan tailoring, "mappina" refers to the slight pleat or gathering at the end of a jacket sleeve. This is a detail unique to the Neapolitan style and gives jackets a more relaxed, natural look.)

We love to "wear" elegance lightly and use traditional wardrobe codes to express our own style.

Enis, the owner of Sartoria Napoletana, first started tailoring years ago when he went to London to study English. A family friend offered him a job at Norton and Sons, one of Saville Row's most respected tailors, and it was there that he first experienced what bespoke fashion was all about. Later, when he returned to Istanbul, he worked full-time in several tailor shops and gained years of experience before establishing his own brand based in Naples - Istanbul.

Enis believes that in the inherently fickle world of fashion, there are trends that never truly disappear, and many of them can be learned by looking to the past. In his designs, he draws inspiration from international fashion icons and certain historical figures.

"I try to teach people what bespoke clothing is every day. The price of the garment doesn't matter. Our prices are suitable for almost every budget. Bespoke clothing is a luxury, yes, but people are now moving away from cheap products. If you buy five suits a year, don't. Buy two and make sure they are high quality. Create a budget for that. You don't have to be rich to dress bespoke or to have style."
