Stylish, breathable, and comfortable...

Hopsack is a type of loosely woven wool fabric. It gets its name from its resemblance to the woven sacks used to transport hops in the beer-making process. Hopsack fabric is known for its distinctive texture, breathability, and durability, making it a popular choice for light and comfortable garments, especially in warmer climates.

A blazer, on the other hand, is a versatile and classic garment, with its origins tracing back to British naval and military uniforms. The first blazers were single-colored jackets worn by rowing teams at Lady Margaret Boat Club in Cambridge in the 19th century. The term "blazer" is derived from the "bright red" color of these jackets.

An elegant classic sensibility and touches of technical mastery are the fundamental elements of our brand. Inspired by Neapolitan tailoring, we have created our models with contemporary and modern lines; our aim is to produce garments that can be worn with ease.

In our workshop, master cutters transform eye-catching fabrics into bespoke, made-to-measure, and ready-to-wear collections. The attention to detail, perfect cut, and typically soft Neapolitan construction reflect the company's true heritage.

From the early days, we have not shied away from experimenting with different techniques and pushing the boundaries of traditional style with fine details; we have innovated our designs with special touches such as the distinctive mappina, hand-sewn buttonholes, and an effortless fit.

(Mappina: In Neapolitan tailoring, "mappina" refers to the slight pleat or gathering at the end of a jacket sleeve. This is a detail unique to the Neapolitan style and gives jackets a more relaxed, natural look.)

We love to "wear" elegance lightly and use traditional wardrobe codes to express our own style.

Enis, the owner of Sartoria Napoletana, first started his tailoring career years ago when he went to London to study English. A family friend offered him a job at Norton and Sons, one of Savile Row's most respected tailors, and it was there that he first experienced what bespoke fashion was. Later, when he returned to Istanbul, he worked full-time in several tailor shops and, after gaining years of experience, established his own Naples-Istanbul-based brand.

Enis believes that in the inherently indecisive world of fashion, there are trends that never truly disappear, and most of them can be learned by looking to the past. He draws inspiration for his designs from international fashion icons and some historical figures.

"I try to teach people every day what bespoke clothing is. The price of the garment doesn't matter. Our prices suit almost every budget. Bespoke clothing is a luxury, yes, but people are now moving away from cheap products. If you buy five suits a year, don't. Buy two and make sure they are high quality. Budget for that. You don't have to be rich to dress bespoke or to have style."
