This shaving set belongs to the Mühle Rytmo design series and is compatible only with Gillette® Fusion™ blades. The set consists of three parts: a shaving brush, a Gillette® Fusion™ razor, and a shaving set stand. A head protector for Fusion blades is also included in the box.

The shaving brush has Black Fibre bristle type synthetic bristles, and its knot diameter is 21 mm (medium). The brush is a vegan product and has good water retention. It can quickly create lather and the bristles dry quickly. It is easy to maintain.

The Gillette® Fusion™ shaving system features five blades stacked on top of each other, as well as a precision trimmer blade located on the back of the cartridge. This design provides a very close and gentle shave. While the blades are available from common retailers, the handle of this razor is crafted from natural ash wood and metal chrome details.

The ash wood requires no special treatment. It has undergone special processes to become water-resistant. Nevertheless, due to its natural texture, it is beneficial not to leave it in water for extended periods and to gently dry it after rinsing. Oiling the wood texture once a year with a suitable wood care oil will ensure that your brush serves you with the same quality and appearance for many years.

To use your brushes with the same performance for years, it is important to rinse the bristles thoroughly after shaving and to let them air dry by hanging them in a well-ventilated area. The stand in the set is designed to elegantly display the shaving brush and the Gillette® Fusion™ razor.

About the Design

Rytmo

The Rytmo series is the epitome of eye-catching and timeless design. The conical form is completed by the distinctive zone on the chrome-plated base. As with other Mühle designs, these Rytmo designs ensure that the piece fits perfectly when hung on its stand.

The Rytmo series is available in high-grade resin in black and mint, or in natural ash wood. All color and material variations are highlighted by the particularly bright, chrome-plated base.

In the stand design, a narrow plastic edge has been added directly to the metal. This piece ensures that you have an optimal brush and razor, while preventing scratches on the shiny chrome surface.

Material

Black Fibre Synthetic Bristle

This is a vegan bristle type designed for wet shaving. The dark-colored, soft fiber bristles are similar to pure badger hair but have softer tips. Synthetic fiber bristles have good performance characteristics. Additionally, fiber bristles produce a more stable lather. Many users prefer this bristle type not only because it is vegan but also because they achieve a creamier lather.

Synthetic shaving brushes dry quickly after shaving and do not harbor bacteria because they do not trap water within the bristles. They are highly preferred due to their ability to quickly create lather. Being quick-drying, they are ideal for travel. Since synthetic shaving brushes are much easier to maintain than natural animal bristles, they are more durable and long-lasting.

Ash Wood

Ash wood does not require special treatment for its use. It has undergone special processes to become water-resistant. Nevertheless, due to the natural texture, it is necessary not to leave it in water for extended periods and to gently dry it after rinsing.
