Pure badger shaving brushes are natural bristle brushes that are considered relatively more economical than other types, capable of holding heat and water well. They are more suitable for lathering in a bowl rather than directly on the face.
Ash wood does not require special treatment for its use. It has undergone special processes to gain water resistance. Nevertheless, because the natural texture can still be felt, it is beneficial not to leave it in water for a long time and to gently dry it after rinsing.
Oiling the wooden texture once a year with a suitable wood care oil will ensure your brush serves you with the same quality and appearance for many years.
To use your brushes with the same performance for many years, it is important to rinse the bristles very well after shaving and let them air dry by hanging them in a well-ventilated area.

Rytmo
The Rytmo series is a striking and timeless design. The conical form is complemented by a distinctive area at the chrome-plated base. As with other Mühle designs, these Rytmo designs ensure the piece fits perfectly when hung on its stand.
The Rytmo series is available in high-grade resin in black and mint, or in natural ash wood. All color and material varieties are particularly emphasized by the shiny, chrome-plated base.
In the stand design, a narrow plastic edge has been directly incorporated into the metal. This piece guarantees an optimal fit for the brush and razor, while preventing scratches to the shiny chrome surface.
Ash Wood
Alongside beech and oak, natural ash wood is the most important native broad-leaved tree species. This tree is found in Europe, especially in the northern regions.
For our purposes, we subject the wood we obtain to short-term, very high heat treatment. During this process, the wood gains water resistance and acquires its own brown color. To preserve the naturalness of the surface, the wood is only treated with oil, not varnished. This way, the wood acquires excellent water resistance and longevity.
Oiling your ash wood shaving products with a suitable wood care oil 1-2 times a year will make the surface much more durable. This will ensure the surface maintains its appearance and quality for many years.
Pure Badger
Known for its medium performance, pure badger shaving brushes are particularly suitable for wet shavers who enjoy a soft facial massage. The brush tip, which is slightly stiffer than other badger hairs, is shaped by machine. Their colors range from brownish-gray to black. In terms of water retention capacity, they are among the most preferred shaving brushes after fine badger.
