Rytmo

RYTMO with conical shape and perfect design; It is the second product group of the INTRO collection. The prominent contours on the chrome-plated base of the brush and razor add an aesthetic expression to the products and is completely MUHLE - also thoughtfully designed: While the handle is manufactured, a thin plastic is attached directly to the metal, allowing the base of the brush and the razor to fit comfortably on the handle. The products of the RYTMO collection are presented in premium resin in black and mint green - and the best part is that ash wood (heat treated) is also offered to nature lovers. All RYTMO razor handles are compatible with Gillette® Mach3® or Gillette® Fusion ™ blades. A razor shaver option is also available for the enthusiast and passionate shaver. Black Fibre

This synthetic fibre was developed in-house and is similar to natural badger hair in its dark colouring, softness and quality, and a little softer at the tips. It possesses equally good performance characteristics and the synthetic fibres are somewhat sturdier and more durable. Some prefer this material due to its vegan properties and because it also produces particularly creamy shaving lather.

The Material - Steamed ash

Besides beech and oak, ash is one of the most important indigenous deciduous timbers. It is to be found in Europe, most frequently in the more northerly regions. For our purposes, the wood is briefly heated to a very high temperature.

In this process it attains high resistance to water, the grain is accentuated and the wood takes on its brown colour. In order to preserve the naturalness of the surface, however, it is treated only with oil, not lacquered. This provides the wood with perfect protection against water and makes it particularly long-lasting.

How To Use a Shaving Brush?

- Soften your shaving brush by soaking it in a bowl of lukewarm water for 1-2 minutes. You can also do this job by keeping it under lukewarm water.

- Start lathering by running the wet brush in circular motions on the soap / cream you put in the shaving bowl, without shaking the water. This operation, with medium or light force, will load soap / cream on the shaving brush. Continue this process for about 1-2 minutes until you get a thick and rich foam.

- During the loading process, you can occasionally lift your shaving brush and turn it on the walls of your shaving bowl. If when you observe the bristles of the brush they merge with each other, that means your loading process was successful. During the loading process, you can add water little by little to adjust the consistency.

- Soap or cream should be foamed on the bowl, not on the face.

- Face foaming may cause discomfort on sensitive skin.

- An ideal shaving foam should not contain bubbles in the form of bubbles. This means it contains more water than it needs. If the foam does not flow when you take the foam with the brush, you can understand that you have achieved the ideal shaving foam.

- After each use, you should rinse your shaving brush under running water for at least half a minute, from all angles. There is a loss and deformation in the bristles of the shaving brushes, which have soap or cream residue on the bristles.

- After each shaving brush is thoroughly rinsed, it should be hung on its stand and left to dry.

About Design

Rytmo

The Rytmo series represents eye-catching and timeless design. The conical form is complemented by the distinctive section on the chrome-plated base. As with other Mühle designs, these Rytmo designs ensure the piece sits perfectly when hung on its stand.

The Rytmo series is available in high-grade resin in black and mint, or in natural ash wood. All color and material variations are particularly highlighted by the bright, chrome-plated base.

In the stand design, a narrow plastic rim has been directly integrated into the metal. This part ensures you have an optimal brush and razor, while preventing scratches to the shiny chrome surface.

Ash Wood

Along with beech and oak, natural ash is the most important native broadleaf tree species in the region. This tree is found in Europe, especially in the northern regions.

For our purposes, we subject the wood we obtain to short-term, very high-temperature heat. During this process, the wood gains water resistance and acquires its own brown color. To preserve the naturalness of the surface, the wood is only treated with oil, not varnished. This way, the wood gains excellent water resistance and long-lasting durability.

Oiling your shaving products made from ash wood material with a suitable wood care oil 1-2 times a year will make the surface much more durable. This way, the surface will retain the same appearance and quality for many years.

Black Fibre Synthetic Bristle

This is a vegan bristle type designed for wet shaving. The darkly colored, soft fibre bristles are similar to pure badger hair but have softer tips. Synthetic fibre bristles have good performance characteristics. At the same time, fibre bristles produce a more stable lather. Many users prefer this bristle type not only because it is vegan but also because they get a creamier lather.

Synthetic shaving brushes dry quickly after shaving and do not harbor bacteria because they do not trap water within the bristles. They are highly preferred due to their ability to quickly create lather. Since they dry quickly, they are ideal for travel. Since the maintenance of synthetic shaving brushes is much easier than natural animal bristles, they are longer-lasting and more durable brushes.

How to Use

Soften your shaving brush by letting it soak in a bowl of warm water for 1-2 minutes. You can also do this by holding it under warm running water.
Without shaking off the water, start lathering the wet brush by moving it in circular motions over the soap/cream you've placed in your shaving bowl. This action, done with medium or light pressure, will load the shaving brush with soap/cream. Continue this process for about 1-2 minutes until you achieve a consistent and rich lather.
During the loading process, you can periodically lift your shaving brush and swirl it against the walls of your shaving bowl. If you observe the brush bristles clumping together, it means your loading process is successful. You can add a little water at a time to adjust the consistency during loading.
Lather should be built in the bowl, not on the face.
Lathering on the face can cause discomfort for sensitive skin.
An ideal shaving lather should not contain bubble-like particles. This means it has more water than needed. If the lather doesn't drip when you pick it up with the brush, you'll know you've achieved an ideal shaving lather.
After each use, you should rinse your shaving brush by splaying its bristles under running water from all angles for at least half a minute. Shaving brushes with soap or cream residue remaining at the base of the bristles will experience shedding and deformation.
After thoroughly rinsing, every shaving brush should be hung on its stand to dry.
