RYTMO with conical shape and perfect design; It is the second product group of the INTRO collection. The prominent contours on the chrome-plated base of the brush and razor add an aesthetic expression to the products and is completely MUHLE - also thoughtfully designed: While the handle is manufactured, a thin plastic is attached directly to the metal, allowing the base of the brush and the razor to fit comfortably on the handle. The products of the RYTMO collection are presented in premium resin in black and mint green - and the best part is that ash wood (heat treated) is also offered to nature lovers. All RYTMO razor handles are compatible with Gillette® Mach3® or Gillette® Fusion ™ blades. A razor shaver option is also available for the enthusiast and passionate shaver. The shaving brushes of the series have a knot diameter of 21 mm.

The Material - High-grade resin

High-grade resin is a high-quality synthetic material, the surface of which is processed and refined separately. The material is ideal for exclusive accessories and writing implements because it facilitates a broad spectrum of modern and classical designs in many attractive colours.

To begin with, the aesthetic basic shapes for brush and razor handles are turned out of solid rods. Then each individual work piece is polished in several passes to give the surface its special gleam. This processing method lends the models a pleasant feel and secures their beauty for many years to come.

HOW TO USE A GILLETTE RAZOR BLADE?

Prepare your skin for the shave: Always shave during or after a hot shower for a flawless traditional wet shave. Apply foam to your skin to soften your skin and prepare your beards for shaving. The application of shaving foam with a shaving brush helps to remove the dead layer on the skin, while removing the hairs and preparing it for a comfortable shave. Also, if possible, leaving the foam on your skin for at least 1-2 minutes will allow the beards to soften more and shave easier.

Check the razor blade: Check the lubricant bands on the tip of your Gillette razor blade, they should not be worn, there should be no clogs between the razors. If the Gillette razor feels blunt while shaving, you should change your head. The most common mistake that causes skin irritation is shaving with blunt razors.

Start shaving: Shave with gentle touches without pressing the blade. You should rinse your Gillette razor frequently to avoid clogging between the razors. Always take the first act in the direction of the beard growth. In the second act, you can shave at right angles to the direction of beard growth or against the direction of beard growth.

Rinse and moisturize: After shaving, rinse your skin with cold water, apply an aftershave balm or lotion to moisturize, nourish and refresh.

About Design

RYTMO

The Rytmo series is the epitome of eye-catching and timeless design. The conical form is complemented by the distinctive region on the chrome-plated base. As with other Mühle designs, these Rytmo designs ensure that the piece sits perfectly when hung on its stand.

The Rytmo series is available in high-grade resin in black and blue, or in natural ash wood. All color and material varieties are especially highlighted by the shiny, chrome-plated base.

In the stand design, a narrow plastic edge has been added directly to the metal. This piece guarantees you an optimal brush and razor, while preventing the shiny chrome surface from being scratched.

How to Use

Use and Tips

- In traditional shaving, preparation is important. The skin and beard should be softened during preparation, and this should only be done with lather obtained from cream or soap.

- The skin should be softened with the whipped cream-like shaving lather, preferably (ideally) with the help of a shaving brush. Moving the lather around your face with a shaving brush for about 1 minute is sufficient to soften and stimulate the beard.

- Open the head of your razor. Hold the blade by its short edge, place it inside the razor, and close it.

- If your razor is a 3-piece type, it will open by twisting its head. If it's a 2-piece type, it will open by twisting the mechanism on the handle.

- Then, start shaving. Razors with closed combs only touch the skin at a 30-45 degree angle. They cannot make direct contact with the skin. They shorten the beard by cutting it, which is why you need to shave in passes. It is important to shave according to the direction of your beard growth.

- For the first pass, shave in the same direction as your beard growth. While this direction is from top to bottom on the cheek, it may vary on the neck. The direction of beard growth is unique to each man and cannot be changed by the cutting direction.

- Do not press. Classic razors provide a shave with their own weight. Gently hold the razor by its handle and do not press it against your skin. Allow it to glide with the lather and blade. For those new to traditional shaving, our primary goal is a irritation-free shave, not necessarily a perfectly clean one. As you get used to it (around 8-10 shaves), clean shaves will come naturally. Do not go over the same spot repeatedly.

- After the first pass, reapply lather to your face with a brush or your hand. For the second pass, shave in the same direction or diagonally for a closer shave (e.g., from ear to cheek, or cheek to ear).

- The skin perceives each blade contact as an impact. After shaving, it is important to soothe this impact. Aftershave products contain ingredients with high soothing properties. If you experience problems such as dryness, itching, or redness, use a balm. If you do not encounter such discomforts, you can use a lotion for a lighter effect. Using both is also common; you can apply lotion first, then balm.

- We recommend not shaving against the grain until you are fully accustomed to the razor. This can cause undesirable conditions like irritation or ingrown hairs.

- Mühle classic razors have chrome-plated heads made of metal. Applying excessive force to metal parts will cause screw deformation; please avoid doing so. Oiling the metal parts a few times a year with metal oil will add value to the lifespan of your razor.

- After shaving, remove the blade from the razor, dry it, and store it in its paper wrapper. Mühle razors are made of stainless zamak alloy. However, we do not recommend prolonged contact of the surface with a rusty blade.

- Although the average number of uses for double-edge blades is 4-5, this depends directly on the razor used, frequency of shaving, blade brand, and skin type. Therefore, the number of uses is specific to each individual. Change the blade as soon as you feel it pulling rather than cutting your beard. Do not shave with a dull blade, as it will cause irritation.
