Silvertip Fibre®

The high-quality synthetic fibres represent a world first of our own invention. We offer a synthetically produced premium quality whose material characteristics are analogous to those of the precious natural hair, silvertip badger. The majority of the users even say that this quality actually provides better performance characteristics than the natural hair.

'Silvertip Fibre®' is very soft at its fine tips, but somewhat more stable than natural hair in the middle section. These characteristics produce a pleasant, soft sensation on the skin when the lather is applied, without having to forgo the desired firmness of the hairs in the lathering process. In daily use, the manually processed fibres are less sensitive than natural hair as they dry more quickly and are resistant to shaving soaps and creams.

The completely vegan fibres are also somewhat easier to use than natural hair as they produce a particularly creamy and thick lather from a small amount of shaving soap or cream, which is used much more sparingly as a result.

Aluminum

Travel razor blades and shaving brushes are made of aluminum. Aluminum is the ideal material to be used in travel shaving products to harden the surface and increase resistance to water and impacts.

The exclusive travel series with top performance characteristics is particularly light and functional. The screwless parts are perfectly protected when travelling in elegant housings made of aluminium or chrome-plated metal.

The type of hair used for the travel shaving sets and brushes is Silvertip Fibre®, which lathers immediately, dries quickly and is very durable. To safely accommodate a complete set with brush and razor, handmade fine leather cases are offered in Florentine style in black or brown.

How to Use

Usage and Tips

- First, when you purchase a new shaving brush, lather it with shaving soap 1-2 times before the first use to remove shelf and manufacturing dust, then rinse it and let it dry in a well-ventilated area.

- Fibre brushes do not require pre-softening as they don't have organic bristles. In this regard, they are quite practical to use. You can simply wet them and start building lather.

- They create lather quickly and dry quickly, making them suitable for travel.

- Start gliding the wet Fibre brush over the cream or soap without shaking off too much water. Continue until you achieve the desired lather, adjusting with a little water or product until you get a whipped cream consistency.

- Then, gently move the brush in circular motions on your face to soften your beard and skin.

- If you shave intermittently and use aggressive razors, it is important to glide the brush on your face for at least 1.5 minutes to prepare for the shave.

- Reapply lather to your face with the brush between each pass.

- After shaving, it is crucial to rinse the brushes thoroughly. If not rinsed well, alkaline residue can accumulate at the base of the bristles. This can lead to excessive bristle shedding over time, which is considered user error.

- To extend the life of your brushes, thoroughly open the bristles and rinse them under running water from all angles, then hang them to dry in a well-ventilated area.

- Fibre brushes should not be expected to retain heat as well as animal hair brushes. Therefore, it's important to be aware of their heat retention capacity and avoid exposing them to hot water.

- Do not expose your brush to water that is too hot for your hand to touch. Boiling water can deform the bristles and damage the adhesive at the base of the brush bristles.

- Do not expose your brushes to any chemicals. Do not leave them wet in an enclosed space where they cannot dry.

- A well-maintained Fibre brush can be used for approximately 6-7 years. This period can be extended further depending on usage.
