About the razor head design:

The performance of a classic safety razor is determined by its head design, and this razor has a closed comb head.

A closed head is a structure with a safety bar, allowing the blade to contact your skin at a controlled and safe angle.

Closed-head razors are preferred by those new to traditional shaving, those who shave daily or every 2-3 days, and those with sensitive skin.

The blade cannot directly contact your skin; it can only make contact within a 30-45 degree angle range. This provides a controlled and medium-mild shave.

The high-quality synthetic fibers included in this set are our own invention and represent a world first. The material properties offer a premium quality, synthetically produced, resembling the valuable natural fibers of silvertip badger. Most users actually say that this quality offers even better performance characteristics than natural bristles.

These characteristics create a pleasant, soft feel on the skin when lather is applied, without compromising the desired firm stance during the lathering process (it has backbone). In daily use, the hand-processed fibers dry faster and are less sensitive than natural bristles because they are resistant to soaps and creams.
These completely vegan fibers are more durable than natural bristles (all animal hair brushes). This is because a small amount of shaving soap or cream produces a particularly creamy and thick lather, and consequently, less is used.
