The Premium Natural Bristle Shaving Brush is made from boar bristles. Thanks to its strong backbone, it provides an additional exfoliating effect. The Masamune shaving brush helps cleanse the skin and prevents ingrown hairs. During brush application, the hairs are lifted, and as the lather penetrates the skin, it offers a pleasant preparation process.
The Masamune Premium brush handle is CNC-machined from high-quality AISI 303 stainless steel, hand-finished, and sandblasted.

TATARA Hakkında
The name TATARA (鑪) is inspired by the furnace that master blacksmiths used to smelt steel for Samurai swords in ancient Japan. Our products, like Japanese katanas, are made with extreme dedication and attention to detail. We combine this with the obsessive precision of modern engineering.
Based in Porto, Portugal, we are an engineering team passionate about product development. We came together in September 2016 to imagine, design, and develop TATARA's shaving products.
Noticing a market saturation in DE razors that were not different, we dared to imagine a clean and elegant safety razor (SR). This is strongly supported by minimalism and design, with the aim of achieving a smooth and efficient shave.
During product development, we experimented with various combinations for blade gap, angle, and exposure. Through safety razor users, we perceived that features such as vibration and blade alignment are actually very important for achieving a comfortable and smooth shave.
By ensuring machining tolerances (0.02 mm), we can reinforce the precise placement of parts and limit blade movements between the razor's plate and cap.
However, we realized there were other variables that still affected the shaving experience!
We knew we could help with wet shaving, and we found our mission!
