About the STYLO Series

Its conical products combine chrome with premium resin (color choices: black and caramel), African blackwood, thuja wood, and precisely obtained knots from the body of mountain juniper. The shaving brush and razor are quite contemporary, and the razor is also extremely functional: Due to their special ergonomic structures, they fully adapt to their owners.

Frequent flyers, urban nomads, school leavers; or a bit of everything: The choice between Gillette® Fusion™, Mach3®, and classic razor (safety razor) blade systems offers different options for every man. Beech Wood:

Mühle recently combined its minimalist design with beech wood. The natural structure is first highlighted by processing the wood. The handle, made from boiled beech wood impregnated with resin, allows water and lather to quickly run off the surface.

About the head anatomy:

Mühle's closed-comb razors are safe structures where a safety bar is located between the blade and the skin, allowing the blade to contact the skin only at a certain angle (30-45 degrees). Since the blade rests behind the safety bar and cannot directly contact the skin, those using a classic safety razor for the first time can easily use it, and it provides a high-performance yet skin-friendly shave for daily use.

How to Use

Prepare your skin for shaving: For a perfect traditional wet shave, always shave during or after a warm shower. Apply lather to your skin to soften it and prepare your beard for shaving. Applying shaving cream with a shaving brush helps remove dead skin cells and lifts the hairs, preparing them for a comfortable shave. Also, if possible, allowing the lather to sit on your skin for at least 1-2 minutes will further soften the hairs and allow for an easier shave.
First grip: The safety razor should be held at a 30° angle to the skin. To find the correct angle, first hold the razor parallel to your skin. Then slowly raise the razor; stop as soon as you feel the blade touching your skin. This is the 30° angle you should maintain. You can be sure that after approximately 5 shaves, you will intuitively find the correct angle and gain practice.
First pass: The most important rule to know when using a safety razor is to not press down. Allow the razor's own weight to do the work. Make the first pass in the direction of hair growth. Do not go over areas where you feel the razor is not cutting your beard. A safety razor cuts the beard by reducing it, it does not provide a baby-smooth shave in a single pass. Save these areas for the second pass. One of the simplest causes of irritation is repeatedly pressing and going over the skin with the razor blade. Do not allow this!
Second pass: After reapplying lather to your skin, clean the remaining hairs with the second pass, also in the direction of hair growth. If you want a closer shave, you can shave perpendicular to the direction of hair growth (from nose to ear or ear to nose).
Rinse – moisturize: After shaving, rinse your skin with cold water, and moisturize, nourish, and refresh it with aftershave balm or lotion.
