General Principle:

It is important to sharpen your razor before each shave.

Sharpening Process:

Secure the blade sharpening strop horizontally and tautly (e.g., to a doorknob).
Place your razor flat on the strop, positioning the blunt side of the blade facing forward.
Slide the blade over the strop in an "X" pattern. This ensures all cutting edges of the blade are sharpened.
Keep this principle in mind for sharpening the blade: The blade should always be turned from the spine of the blade, not from the cutting edge.
Slide the blade over the strop with even and consistent hand movements approximately 20 times (10 times for each side).

After Sharpening:

The razor is now ready for shaving.

Razor Care:

Razors require special attention and care.
The sharp edge must be protected from impacts or friction.
After each use, clean your razor carefully and store it dry.
If not used for an extended period, lightly oil your razor and store it in a dry place out of reach of children.
