It has been exactly 13 years since our legendary Rakı Encyclopedia (2010), prepared under the leadership of Erdir Zat, was published. We say "Mashallah" (may God protect it). On this occasion, we would like to express our gratitude once again to the entire team, especially our esteemed writers and editors, for this wonderful work that allowed us to make history in publishing.

This work, on the other hand, was born from that great encyclopedia. Dear Arel Siviş read all the entries in the encyclopedia many times, selected, deleted, and re-selected. And finally, he drew them with his precious pen.

John Berger says, “no sooner do we see than we are also aware of being seen.” In this sense, seeing is an act that evokes entirely different feelings from reading.

Anason İşleri aims to give raki culture a universal form by collaborating with innovative designers.
