Charles Bukowski, a writer of the beat generation, perhaps because he never met rakı, was a man who spent his life with beer. Towards life, he says, "Almost everyone is born a genius, and buried a fool." His statements are as problematic as "Of course you can love a human being, if you know them enough." They are full of love.

"Pulp" = describes itself as follows:

"He always loved the bad guy, the outlaw, the rascal. I don't like the clean-shaven, tie-wearing types who hold good jobs. Our hopeless friends, friends with broken teeth, broken minds, broken paths. They interest me. They are full of small surprises and explosions. I also like women; women with slipping nightgowns, smeared makeup, polemical and foul-mouthed women. Perverts interest me more than saints. I am comfortable with vagrants, because I am a vagrant too. I don't like laws, I don't like morals, I don't like religion, I don't like rules. I enjoy society changing me."

Whether to like or dislike Bukowski is another matter. But we would like to learn about the "çilingir sofrası" (a traditional Turkish rakı table).

The patterns on the glasses are created using the kiln-firing method for glass pieces. They are permanent and dishwasher safe. For home use, they will not lose their shine for at least two years. If you wish to use them for a longer period, please prefer hand washing.

Raki is no longer just a drink for middle-aged, fatherly men; it is transforming into a culture where people of all stripes blend creativity, gusto, zest for life, music, mezzes, and conversation. The "raki white" is now becoming a spectrum that embraces differences.

Anason İşleri was born with the aim of bringing this vibrant, revitalizing raki culture together with the language of design. They aimed to create products that touch daily lives, tables, and homes, stepping outside the office environment and the digital world. Adopting the principle of transforming crisis into design, they produced anise-scented items. They have created innovative designs across a wide range of products, from raki glasses to mezze plates, tablecloths to T-shirts, and wallpapers to accessories. Anason İşleri aims to give raki culture a universal form by collaborating with innovative designers.
