Enis, the owner of Sartoria Napoletana, first started tailoring years ago when he went to London to study English. A family friend offered him a job at Norton and Sons, one of the most respected tailors on Savile Row, and it was there that he first experienced what bespoke fashion truly was. Later, when he returned to Istanbul, he worked full-time in several tailor shops, gaining years of experience before establishing his own Naples-Istanbul-based brand.

Enis believes that in the inherently fickle world of fashion, there are trends that never truly disappear, and many of them can be learned by looking to the past. He draws inspiration from international fashion icons and certain historical figures for his designs.

“I try to teach people every day what bespoke clothing is. The price of the garment doesn’t matter. Our prices are suitable for almost every budget. Bespoke clothing is a luxury, yes, but people are now moving away from cheap products. If you buy five suits a year, don’t. Buy two and make sure they are high quality. Budget for that. You don’t have to be rich to dress bespoke or to be stylish.”
