Focusing on the essentials is an art. Purist dispenses with everything superfluous. The series is characterized by lightly rounded handles with a wide neck.

High-quality black resin, ebony, Karelia birch, and briar, a material well-known to pipe enthusiasts, were used for particularly decorative pieces.

The brushes in the series have a knot diameter of 21 mm. They are offered with badger hair (Fine Badger), Silvertip Fibre (vegan hair), and Silvertip Badger.

Shaving sets offer different options for every man with Gillette® Fusion5™, Mach3®, and classic safety razors. The blade systems are not interchangeable within themselves and are all different.

How to Use

- In traditional wet shaving, preparation is important. For shaving preparation, the skin and beard should be softened, and this process should only be done with lather obtained from cream or soap.

- The skin should be softened by applying the whipped cream-like shaving lather with the help of a shaving brush. Moving the shaving brush with lather on your face for about 1 minute is sufficient to soften and stimulate the beard.

- Open the head of your razor. Hold the blade by its short side, place it inside the razor, and close it.

- If your razor is a 3-piece, it will open by twisting its head; if it's a 2-piece, it will open by twisting the mechanism on the handle.

- Then, begin to shave. Closed comb razors only touch the skin at a 30-45 degree angle. They cannot make direct contact with the skin. Open comb razors, on the other hand, can make direct contact. These razors cut and shorten the beard, so you need to shave in passes. It is important to shave according to the direction of beard growth.

- For the first pass, shave in the same direction as your beard growth. This direction may be from top to bottom on the cheek but may differ on the neck. Every man's beard growth direction is different and cannot be changed by the cutting direction.

- Do not press. Classic razors shave with their own weight. Hold the razor gently by its handle and do not press it against your skin. Allow it to glide with the lather and blade. For those new to traditional wet shaving, our primary goal is to achieve an irritation-free shave, not necessarily a perfectly clean one. As you get used to it (approximately 8-10 shaves), clean shaves will naturally follow. Do not go over the same spot repeatedly.

- After the first pass, reapply lather to your face with a brush or your hand. For the second pass, shave again in the same direction or diagonally for a closer shave (e.g., from ear to cheek, or cheek to ear).

- The skin perceives each blade contact as an impact. After shaving, it is important to soothe this impact. Aftershave products contain ingredients with high soothing properties. If you have problems like dryness, itching, or redness, use a balm. If you do not experience such discomforts, you can use a lotion for a lighter effect. Using both together is also common; you can apply lotion first, then balm.

- We recommend not shaving against the grain until you are fully accustomed to the razor. This can cause unwanted situations like irritation or ingrown hairs.

- Mühle classic razors have chrome-plated heads made of metal. Applying excessive force to metal parts will cause screw deformation; do not do this. Oiling the metal parts a few times a year with metal oil will add value to the life of your razor.

- After shaving, separate the blade from the razor, dry it, and store it in its paper. Mühle razors are made of stainless zamak alloy. However, we do not recommend that the surface be in contact with a rusty blade for a long time.

- Although the average number of uses for double-edge blades is 4-5, this depends directly on the razor used, shaving frequency, blade brand, and skin type. Therefore, each person's usage count is unique. Change the blade as soon as you feel it tugging at your beard instead of cutting it. Do not shave with a dull blade, as it will cause irritation.

- If your shaving brush is made of animal hair, you need to pre-soften it. Soaking the brush in warm water (never boiling) for about 1 minute, deep enough to cover the roots, will soften the bristles and prepare them for loading. If your bristle type is Fibre, you can wet it directly and start shaving.

- Shaving brushes must be rinsed very well after each use and left to air dry. Alkaline buildup in brushes that are not rinsed well at the base will cause shedding of the bristles over time, and this is considered user error.

- Do not expose the brush bristles to water at a temperature your hand cannot tolerate. This will both damage the bristles and degrade the epoxy at the base of the brush.

- We advise against applying excessive force to the handle while making circular movements with your brush.
