Why? Because the hexagonal profile of each product, its contemporary and ergonomic design, combines traditional and entirely practical elements to ensure a good grip and functionality. This is a design approach for which Mark Braun has already won numerous awards.

Graphite, forest green, silver, and sunset – the color selection couldn't be more modern or earthy. These subtle earth tones also serve as a small reference to the rugged terrain of the Erzgebirge, between Saxony and Bohemia, where the culture of shaving belongs…

With Mark Braun's design, the Hexagon shaving set received the Red Dot Design Award, the German Design Award, and the Product of the Year award in 2017!

The new HEXAGON series… Mühle collaborated with famous Berlin designer Mark Braun for the new Hexagon series. The result? Best shaving products skillfully proportioned – but not classic at all. Why? Because the hexagonal profile of each product, its contemporary and ergonomic design, is combined with traditional and completely practical elements to ensure a good grip and functionality.

Brand new but still familiar: Even the matte finish of the handle is like a new and simple engraving (just like in the Myriad Pro typeface). Of course, these products, like others, go through Mühle: the razor has the same attachment as the iconic R89. An additional detail covering the collection is a job Mühle excels at: chrome plating.

Silvertip Fibre^®

The high-quality synthetic fibres included in this set are our own invention and represent a world first. The material properties offer a synthetically produced premium quality that resembles precious natural fibres, like silvertip badger hair. Most users say that this quality actually offers even better performance characteristics than natural bristles.

These properties create a pleasant, soft feeling on the skin when the lather is applied, without giving up the desired firm stance during the lathering process (it has backbone). In daily use, the hand-processed fibres are less sensitive than natural bristles as they dry faster and are resistant to soaps and creams.
These completely vegan fibres are more durable than natural bristles (all animal hair brushes). This is because a creamy and thick lather is obtained from a small amount of shaving soap or cream, resulting in less usage.
