As is well known among cigar smokers, a correct cigar cut is essential in the art of enjoying a pleasant cigar. In this sense, El Casco cigar cutters are equipped with a very high-quality stainless steel blade, manufactured in Solingen (Germany). This blade provides a very clean cut to ensure a good tobacco burn. Made of steel, handcrafted and polished six times, it is an instrument of excellent quality; you feel its solidity when you use it.
The plier design offers excellent visual appeal and very smooth mechanical operation. The collection includes a "mirror finish" coating in different combinations: chrome, 23k gold, and black.

Tradition and Quality with you since 1920…
In 1920, Olave, Solozabal S.R.C was founded with the aim of producing high-quality pistols. When pistol production was affected by the economic crisis of 1929, partners Olave and Solozabal decided to produce office supplies of the highest quality. It was during this period that they started selling their famous M-5 wire staplers, for which they still hold the patent.
In 1938 and 1939, with the addition of new partners, the 5 families who are still partners today came together and decided to expand their product range.
Products such as pencil sharpeners, paperweights, adhesive tape dispensers, and perforators began to be produced. In 1979, an agreement was reached with a professional designer, and it was decided to also produce plastic versions of these products. Although many awards were received with the plastic series, it was not continued as it was not as popular with customers as the metal products. Following this, a return to classic metal products was decided, and their development was prioritized. New polishing and finishing methods began to be used, and special black velvet gift boxes were created for each product.
El Casco has continued to add new products to its range since 1993. Our aim is to offer you the best and widest selection of desktop office supplies. Despite all these changes and additions, the only thing that remains constant is our philosophy: always the highest quality, reliability, elegance, and success.
Production begins with the selection of the highest quality material. Human labor is involved in every stage of production, quality control is performed at the end of each stage, and products with deficiencies are reprocessed from the previous stage. Even today, each product is polished by hand individually. Every product made of copper, nickel, chrome, and 23-carat gold is refined and cleaned in electrolytic baths. The water used in these baths is recycled and reused due to environmental awareness. The assembly of products in the final stage is also done by hand, and their functionality is checked. To prevent any damage to the product and avoid leaving fingerprints at this stage, our personnel wear very special gloves and carefully place the products into their special boxes. Thus, our product is ready to satisfy our most meticulous customers.
In addition to our metal products, our files and similar leather-covered products, made from the highest quality leather, are offered to our customers with the most refined tastes. We can also prepare our classic products specifically for you and your company, according to your wishes and satisfaction. We immortalize your logo with our silk printing and special engraving methods.
