Ms. Eva Giacomini, the company owner, explains: "The company was founded in 1956 by my mother, Ernesta Pasotti, who started producing one-of-a-kind umbrellas, sometimes selling them directly using her bicycle. Later, with my father Vittorio, who mainly handled sales, the company grew from a small artisan company to a large one with over a hundred employees. Today, there's no longer room for such industrial production, so we downsized and focused more on limited edition umbrellas. We produce 40,000 handmade umbrellas per year; these are very high-quality products sold in the most prestigious boutiques in 75 countries. 93% of our turnover comes from abroad, mainly from Europe, North America, Russia, and China. In addition to the Pasotti collection, we are also proud to collaborate with some of the most fashionable brands worldwide through private label partnerships.”

And the overseas market continues to grow, thanks to the new generation, Nicola and Andrea Begotti, who attend the most important fashion weeks and invest heavily in the internet, thereby increasing brand awareness.
