The origins of the Fratelli Peroni artisan factory date back to 1956, when the Peroni brothers, Piero and Roberto, established their fur and leather goods workshop in Florence. Today, the third generation of Peronis, Maurizio and Marco, continue the tradition of high-quality leather craftsmanship, preserving their professionalism and manual skills, while also adding creativity and innovation.
“F.lli Peroni” is a true artisan factory where the owners are also involved in daily production, teaching the secrets of this ancient art to their artisan staff.
The products emotionally uplift their owners: The traditional work of the artisan and Renaissance-born “cuoio artisto fiorentino,” passed down from one generation to the next, is immediately recognizable.
The factory uses high-quality raw materials, such as vegetable-tanned calfskin. Fashion accessories like wallets, business card holders, and coin purses, as well as furniture, bags, and briefcases, are some examples of their production.
The main source of inspiration is the Florentine artistic heritage, particularly certain details from artworks in museums. Antique models are re-imagined for the modern age, always striving to maintain the enduring connection between an item's function and its beauty.
