Rytmo

RYTMO with conical shape and perfect design; It is the second product group of the INTRO collection. The prominent contours on the chrome-plated base of the brush and razor add an aesthetic expression to the products and is completely MUHLE - also thoughtfully designed: While the handle is manufactured, a thin plastic is attached directly to the metal, allowing the base of the brush and the razor to fit comfortably on the handle. The products of the RYTMO collection are presented in premium resin in black and mint green - and the best part is that ash wood (heat treated) is also offered to nature lovers. All RYTMO razor handles are compatible with Gillette® Mach3® or Gillette® Fusion ™ blades. A razor shaver option is also available for the enthusiast and passionate shaver. The shaving brushes of the series have a knot diameter of 21 mm.

The Material - High-grade resin

High-grade resin is a high-quality synthetic material, the surface of which is processed and refined separately. The material is ideal for exclusive accessories and writing implements because it facilitates a broad spectrum of modern and classical designs in many attractive colours.

To begin with, the aesthetic basic shapes for brush and razor handles are turned out of solid rods. Then each individual work piece is polished in several passes to give the surface its special gleam. This processing method lends the models a pleasant feel and secures their beauty for many years to come.

Pure badger

Pure badger is the basic quality among the natural hair types. The material is recognizable by its relatively dark colouring. The individual hairs are somewhat thicker, but still soft and much more flexible than bristles. In terms of water holding capacity, it is among the most preferred shaving brushes after thin badger.

About Design

The Rytmo series is the embodiment of striking and timeless design. The conical form is complemented by the distinctive zone at the chrome-plated base. As with other Mühle designs, these Rytmo designs also ensure that the piece sits snugly when hung on its stand.

The Rytmo series is available in high-grade resin in black and blue, or in the form of natural ash wood. All color and material varieties are especially highlighted by the shiny, chrome-plated base.

In the design of the stand, a narrow plastic edge has been added directly to the metal. This piece guarantees that you have an optimal brush and razor while preventing the shiny chrome surface from being scratched.

How to Use

- Pre-shave preparation is important. In preparation for shaving, the skin and beard should be softened, and this process should only be done with lather obtained from cream or soap.

- The skin should be softened by applying the whipped cream-like shaving foam with a shaving brush. Moving the brush with the foam on your face for about 1 minute is sufficient to soften and stimulate the beard.

- Make sure your razor's Mach3/Fusion5 blades are not dull and are clean. A dull blade, while unable to cut the beard, damages the skin, leading to irritation.

- For the first pass, shave in the same direction as your beard growth. While this direction is top-to-bottom on the cheek, it may vary on the neck. Beard growth direction is different for every man and cannot be changed by the shaving direction.

- Do not press. Especially with multi-blade systems, pressing the blade against your face can lead to problems like ingrown hairs and razor bumps, as well as damaging the top layer of the skin, causing irritation and redness.

- After the first pass, reapply lather to your face using a brush or your hand. For the second pass, shave in the same direction again or, for a closer shave, shave in a cross-grain direction (e.g., from ear to cheek, or cheek to ear).

- The skin perceives each razor contact as an impact. After shaving, it is important to soothe this impact. Aftershave products contain highly soothing ingredients. If you have problems like dryness, itching, or redness, use a balm. If you don't experience these discomforts, you can use a lotion for a lighter effect. Using both together is also common; you can apply lotion first, then balm.

- If your shaving brush is made of animal hair, you need to pre-soften it. Soaking the brush in warm (never boiling) water for about 1 minute, deep enough to cover the roots of the bristles, will soften the brush hairs and prepare them for lathering. If your brush type is Fibre (synthetic), you can wet it directly and start shaving.

- Shaving brushes must be rinsed very well after each use and left to air dry. Alkali accumulation in brushes whose roots are not rinsed well will cause shedding of the bristles after a while, and this is considered user error.

- Do not expose brush bristles to water hot enough that your hand cannot touch it. This will both damage the bristles and ruin the epoxy at the base of the brush.

- We recommend not applying excessive force to the handle while making circular motions with your brush.
