This shaving set is part of the Mühle Rytmo design series and consists of 4 pieces. This set, which is compatible with all (and only) Gillette® Fusion™ blades, is designed with natural ash wood and metal chrome details. The shaving brush is equipped with Black Fibre synthetic bristles and has a knot diameter of 21 mm. The shaving set stand and the lather bowl are designed with metal-chrome plating.

The Gillette® Fusion™ shaving system features five blades stacked on top of each other, as well as a precision trimmer blade located on the back of the cartridge. This design provides a close and gentle shave. While the blades can be purchased from ubiquitous retailers, the handle of this razor will serve you for years with the same quality and elegance.

Ash wood does not require special treatment for use. It has undergone special processes to become water-resistant. However, due to its natural texture, it is beneficial not to leave it in water for extended periods and to gently dry it after rinsing.

About Design

Rytmo

The Rytmo series is the embodiment of striking and timeless design. The conical shape is complemented by the distinctive zone at the chrome-plated base. As with other Mühle designs, these Rytmo designs ensure the piece fits perfectly when hung on its stand.

The Rytmo series is available in high-grade resin in black and mint, or in natural ash wood. All color and material variations are particularly accentuated by the gleaming, chrome-plated base.

In the stand design, a narrow plastic rim has been directly inserted into the metal. This piece guarantees an optimum brush and razor while preventing scratches to the shiny chrome surface.

No special treatment is required for the use of ash wood. It has undergone special processes to gain water resistance. Nevertheless, due to the natural texture, it is necessary not to leave it in water for a long time and to dry it lightly after rinsing.

Oiling the wooden texture once a year with a suitable wood care oil ensures that the material serves you with the same quality and appearance for many years.

Black Fibre Synthetic Bristles

This is a vegan bristle type designed for wet shaving. Dark colored, soft fiber bristles are similar to pure badger type but have softer tips. Synthetic fiber bristles have good performance characteristics. At the same time, fiber bristles produce more stable lather. Many users prefer this bristle type not only because it is vegan but also because they get a creamier lather.

Since synthetic shaving brushes do not trap water in their bristles, they dry quickly after shaving and do not harbor bacteria. They are highly preferred due to their ability to create lather quickly. Since they dry quickly, they are ideal for travel. Since the care of synthetic shaving brushes is much easier than natural animal bristles, they are longer-lasting and more durable brushes.
