It is a classic safety razor with an open comb, designed with metal – chrome plating, stainless properties, and performs with a double-edge blade.
The head structure determines the performance of a classic razor, and this razor has an open comb head.
The open comb head, which lacks a safety bar, allows the comb to draw the beard in, enabling the blade to contact the skin directly and at a nearly vertical angle, offering a very close, baby-smooth shave.
Designed for long beards of at least 2-3 days, the comb structure draws the beard in, allowing the blade to shave from further down the beard. Therefore, it does a surprisingly clean job on long – coarse – dense beards.
The Twist model razor is heavier and longer than other classic sizes, and its handle is proportionally thicker. Being heavier allows for a slightly closer shave.
