Masamune Shaving Brush - Synthetic Bristle
Tatara Masamune Synthetic Brush is a vegan and hypoallergenic alternative that does not contain animal-derived materials. Its synthetic bristle technology quickly creates a creamy lather and keeps it on the face for a long time.
CNC-machined from stainless steel, the handle with a "sandblasted" surface finish provides both aesthetics and high durability, giving a sense of comfort and premium value during use.
The Synthetic Shaving Brush offers excellent lathering and exfoliating properties for a comfortable shave. It is also easy to maintain as it dries quickly and does not require maintenance like natural hair brushes.
We were not content with standard synthetic bristles on the market. Instead, through our dedicated efforts, we developed a brush with an optimal fiber density that strikes a unique balance between backbone and softness, offering exceptional lathering ability and outstanding water retention. TATARA Hakkında
The name TATARA (鑪) is inspired by the furnace that master blacksmiths in ancient Japan used to melt steel for Samurai swords. Just like Japanese katanas, our products are made with extreme dedication and attention to detail. We combine this with the obsessive precision of modern engineering.
Based in Porto, Portugal, we are an engineering team passionate about product development. We came together in September 2016 to imagine, design, and develop TATARA's shaving products.
Noticing a market saturation in DE razors that were not different, we dared to imagine a clean and elegant safety razor (SR). This is strongly supported by minimalism and design, with the aim of achieving a smooth and efficient shave.
During product development, we experimented with various combinations for blade gap, angle, and exposure. Through safety razor users, we realized that features like vibration and blade alignment are actually very important for achieving a comfortable and smooth shave.
By ensuring machining tolerances (0.02 mm), we can reinforce the correct placement of parts and limit blade movements between the razor's plate and cap.
However, we realized there were other variables still affecting the shaving experience!
We knew we could help with wet shaving, and we found our mission!
