Masamune Shaving Brush - Premium Natural Bristle
The Premium Natural Bristle Shaving Brush is made from hog bristles. Thanks to its strong backbone, it offers an additional exfoliating effect. The Masamune shaving brush helps cleanse the skin and prevents ingrown hairs. During brush application, hairs are lifted, and the lather penetrates the skin, providing a pleasant preparation process.
The Masamune Premium brush handle is CNC machined from AISI 303 high-quality stainless steel, hand-finished, and sandblasted.

TATARA About
The name TATARA (鑪) was inspired by the furnace that master blacksmiths used to melt steel for Samurai swords in ancient Japan. Our products, like Japanese katanas, are made with extreme dedication and attention to detail. We combine this with the obsessive precision of modern engineering.
Based in Porto, Portugal, we are an engineering team passionate about product development. We came together in September 2016 to imagine, design, and develop TATARA's shaving products.
Noticing a market saturation in DE razors that were not different, we dared to imagine a clean and elegant safety razor (SR). This is strongly supported by minimalism and design, with the aim of achieving a smooth and efficient shave.
During product development, we experimented with various combinations for blade gap, angle, and exposure. Through safety razor users, we realized that features like vibration and blade alignment are actually very important for achieving a comfortable and smooth shave.
By ensuring machining tolerances (0.02 mm), we can reinforce the precise placement of parts and limit blade movements between the razor's plate and cap.
However, we realized there were other variables that still affect the shaving experience!
We knew we could help with wet shaving, and we found our mission!
To create extraordinarily long-lasting products sustainably and provide a pleasant and comfortable shaving experience.
What does it do

Rich lather production: Premium boar bristles combine with water and soap to produce a rich and thick lather, providing lubricity during shaving.

Good grip on the surface: Helps the lather stay on the face for a long time, preventing the razor from slipping.

More effective use with stiffening over time: Although boar bristles are soft in initial uses, they take on their natural form over time, and their capacity to remove scattered soap residues increases.

Handle grip comfort: Stainless steel handle + sandblasted surface prevents slipping in hand; both aesthetic and practical.
