About head anatomy:

Mühle's closed-comb razors are safe structures where there is a safety bar between the blade and the skin, allowing the blade to contact the skin only at a certain angle (in the range of 30-45 degrees). Since the blade remains behind the safety bar and cannot directly contact the skin, they can be easily used by those who are using a classic razor for the first time, and they also provide a high-performance yet skin-friendly shave for daily use.

Mühle's closed-comb razors can be used by anyone new to traditional shaving. They are suitable for daily shaving and are quality razors that can last a lifetime. How to Use

Prepare your skin for shaving: For a perfect traditional wet shave, always shave during or after a hot shower. Apply lather to your skin to soften it and prepare the beard for shaving. Applying shaving cream with a shaving brush helps remove dead skin cells and lifts the hairs, preparing them for a comfortable shave. Also, if possible, allowing the lather to sit on your skin for at least 1-2 minutes will further soften your beard and allow for an easier shave.
First grip: The safety razor should be held at a 30° angle to the skin. To find the correct angle, first hold the razor parallel to your skin. Then slowly raise the razor upwards; stop as soon as you feel the blade touch your skin, this is the 30° angle you need to maintain. You can be sure that after about 5 shaves, you will naturally find the correct angle and gain practice.
First pass: The most important rule to know when using a safety razor is not to press. Let the razor do its job with its own weight. Take the first pass in the direction of beard growth. Do not go over areas where you feel the razor is not cutting your beard again. A safety razor cuts the beard by reducing it; it does not give a baby-smooth shave in a single pass. Save these areas for the second pass. One of the simplest causes of irritation is pressing and repeatedly passing the razor over the skin. Do not allow this!
Second pass: After reapplying lather to your skin, clean the remaining beard with the second pass, also in the direction of beard growth. If you want a closer shave, you can shave perpendicular to the direction of beard growth (from nose to ear or ear to nose).
Rinse – moisturize: After shaving, rinse your skin with cold water, and moisturize, nourish, and refresh it by applying aftershave balm or aftershave lotion.
