Albert Thurston suspenders were first produced and sold in 1820 at their Haymarket store in London, five years before the construction of Nelson's Column. In the 18th century, fashion dictated that men wear trousers with such high waists that a belt would not suffice. In fact, throughout the Victorian era, the best way for a gentleman to keep his trousers up was with a pair of suspenders. Since its early years of production, Albert Thurston suspenders have been very popular among royalty, statesmen, and upper-class gentlemen.

How to Use

Carefully attach the leather ends of the suspenders to the buttons located on the inside of your trousers' waistband.
