These trousers emerged during the period when the Gurkhas, renowned for their courage, strength, and determination in the British Colonial Army, clashed with the British Empire's East India Company. Now favored by gentlemen, these trousers were worn by both the British army and Gurkha soldiers.

Enis, the owner of Sartoria Napoletana, first started tailoring years ago when he went to London to study English. A family friend offered him a job at Norton and Sons, one of Saville Row's most respected tailors, and it was here that he first experienced what bespoke fashion was. Later, when he returned to Istanbul, he worked full-time in some tailor shops and, after gaining years of experience, established his own Naples-Istanbul based brand.

Enis believes that in the inherently volatile world of fashion, there are trends that never truly disappear, and many of these can be learned by looking to the past. In his designs, he draws inspiration from international fashion icons and certain historical figures.

"I try to teach people every day what bespoke clothing is. The price of the garment doesn't matter. Our prices are suitable for almost every budget. Bespoke clothing is a luxury, yes, but people are moving away from cheap products. If you buy five suits a year, don't. Buy two and make sure they are high quality. Create a budget for this. You don't have to be rich to wear bespoke or to have style."
