This charming item, weighing 59 grams, is actually a cream-consistency shaving soap. While the hard plastic container protects the soap from external factors, unfortunately, it doesn't allow lathering in the bowl. Lathering in its own bowl is not a method I recommend anyway, as it can cause spoilage.
Of course, there are some exceptions here. If you want to lather in its own bowl, you can grate the soap you removed from its container and press it back into its own bowl. The important thing here is to do this firmly, ensuring no air gets in.
While there's no need to melt soft soaps like Clubman Pinaud, heating hard soaps a little in hot steam after grating will make them easier to press.
Our shaving soap, adorned with a scent similar to Clubman Classic aftershave lotion, is preferred both for its light fragrance and for not overpowering the scent of the aftershave lotion you will apply afterwards. It's not even a stretch to say it will fill your bathroom with the scent of bergamot, jasmine, lime, and a hint of vanilla.
After taking a spoonful into your lathering bowl, you can create a thick, quality lather with any brush you choose (Silvertip badger, boar, or synthetic, it doesn't matter).
Pinaud is not a soap that loves a lot of water; with light loading, it will give a bubbly appearance. For this reason, either load for at least 20 seconds in its bowl, or directly take a spoonful into another bowl and do the lathering there.
After preparing your lather, you can double your shaving pleasure with Clubman Pinaud pre-shave oil. With its formula enriched with coconut oil and lavender oil, it will allow the razor to move more easily while also nourishing your skin.
