The Rytmo series represents eye-catching and timeless design. The conical form is completed by the distinctive zone on the chrome-plated base. As with other Mühle designs, these Rytmo designs ensure the piece sits perfectly when hung on its stand.

The Rytmo series is offered in high-grade resin in black and mint, or in natural ash wood. All color and material variations are particularly emphasized by the shiny, chrome-plated base.

In the stand design, a narrow plastic edge is directly incorporated into the metal. This piece ensures you have an optimal brush and razor while preventing scratches to the polished chrome surface.

In the stand design, a narrow plastic rim has been incorporated directly into the metal. This piece guarantees you an optimal brush and razor, while preventing the shiny chrome surface from being scratched.

How to Use

Use and Tips

- Pre-shave preparation is important. Skin and beard should be softened during preparation for shaving, and this process should only be done with lather obtained from cream or soap.

- The skin should be softened by applying the whipped cream-like shaving foam with the help of a shaving brush. Moving the brush around your face with foam for about 1 minute is sufficient to soften and stimulate the beard.

- Make sure your razor's Mach3/Fusion5 blades are not dull and are clean. A dull blade, while unable to cut the beard, damages the skin and causes irritation.

- For the first pass, shave in the same direction as the beard growth. This direction is typically top-to-bottom on the cheek, but may vary on the neck. Beard growth direction is different for every man and cannot be changed by the cutting direction.

- Do not press. Especially with multi-blade razors, pressing the blade against your face can damage the top layer of the skin, leading to irritation and redness, in addition to problems like ingrown hairs.

- After the first pass, apply lather to your face again with a brush or by hand. For the second pass, shave in the same direction or, for a closer shave, shave in a crosswise direction (e.g., from ear to cheek, or cheek to ear).

- The skin perceives each razor contact as an impact. After shaving, it is important to soothe this impact. Aftershave products contain highly soothing ingredients. If you have problems like dryness, itching, or redness, use a balm. If you do not experience these discomforts, you can use a lotion for a lighter effect. Using both together is also common; you can apply lotion first, then balm.

- If your shaving brush is made of animal hair, you need to pre-soften it. Soaking the brush in lukewarm water (never boiling) for about 1 minute, ensuring the roots are covered, will soften the brush bristles and prepare them for lathering. If your bristle type is Fibre (synthetic), you can wet it directly and start shaving.

- Shaving brushes must be rinsed very well after each use and left to air dry. Alkali buildup in brushes that are not rinsed well at the base can lead to bristle shedding over time, and this is considered user error.

- Do not expose brush bristles to water that is too hot for your hand to touch. This will both damage the bristles and degrade the epoxy at the base of the brush.

- We recommend not applying excessive force to the handle when making circular movements with your brush.
